Climb inside drivers' cabs, ride on trains big and small and see toy trains from big brands. Get up close to the fastest, strongest and newest locos, and catch rarely-seen vehicles like snow ploughs and leaf blowers.
*Railfest 2012 will be a paid admission event, although we'll continue to offer free admission to the rest of the Museum throughout the nine-day event.

A dynamic programme of international music, drama & comedy is heading to Northern Ballet and the Leeds College of Music when the International Jewish Performing Arts Festival hits Leeds between Monday 25th June and Sunday 1st July.

Each festival evening, four shows will be on offer to theatregoers. Music genres include Klezmer, Cabaret, Classical, Cuban Dance, Twist, Vintage and a tribute evening to the amazing Barbra Streisand.
Comedy comes from London Stand-up, Mark Maier and for drama enthusiasts two top New York productions “Unsinkable Women” and “Cities of Light” grace the stage.

Vocalists are wanted in Leeds as Open Mic UK, the competition that discovered Birdy and Hatty Keane, is searching for the UK’s best vocalists, singer/songwriters, rappers and vocalists.
